Payment and Delivery
Click on the 'Add to Cart' button to include the item in your shopping basket. Your PayPal shopping basket will open in a new window or tab (depending on the way your browser is set up). You can then either carry on shopping or make your payment. To make a payment, click 'view basket' button. This will open a new window or tab with the PayPal basket and your items in it. If you have kept your PayPal basket window or tab open, then simply select that window or tab on your browser.There you can check your order, modify it, and proceed to checkout. Credit and debit card payments are processed by PayPal secure server. If you have a PayPal account, your transaction time will be short. If you don't have a PayPal account you will be asked to complete your address and credit card details. Payments by PayPal are instant, your order will be processed same working day.

For customer's who prefer to make payment by cheque (in Pound Sterling only), the item will be sent as soon
as the payment has cleared (normally 5-7 days). Please contact me first if you would like to pay by cheque.

I take great care in packaging your item, to ensure your jewellery is not damaged during transit. I aim to dispatch orders received before 11am (BST) the same working day. All other orders are likely to be sent the following working day. However, please allow up to 2 working days for the dispatch of your order. In all instances, you will be notified by email when your package has been dispatched.
UK, European Union (EU), USA & Canada & other International:
Postage is a flat rate £1.50 for orders under £50. Free for orders over £50. This charge will be added at the PayPal checkout. Depending on the value of the item it might be sent Recorded or Special, if that is the case, you will have to sign upon the receipt.
UK: please allow 3-5 days for delivery
Europe: please allow 5-10 days for delivery
Other: please allow up to 3 weeks for delivery
Most of the items will be sent First Class/Airmail post. If your order is under £50 and you would like your order to be sent by Special or Registered Delivery, please add appropriate cost to your cart/basket.

Returns
I understand how difficult it can be to buy from the internet, or buy something as a gift. If you have any questions about any of the products, please enquire before purchasing. I will be happy to answer any question you have. After purchase, if you are not completely satisfied with your purchase YOU CAN RETURN THE ITEM/S WITHIN 14 DAYS OF PURCHASE (postage at your own cost) for a refund or exchange, or 7 days for sale items. Please note that I do not refund postage charges, and the cost of free postage (the cost will depend on the service used) will be deducted from the refund amount. I'm afraid items made to order and commissioned items cannot be refunded or exchanged unless faulty, as these pieces are made to the customer's own specifications and may not be suitable for resale on the website. For reasons of hygiene, I cannot accept returns of pierced ear earrings (at the moment this is the only kind I'm making) so if you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact me before purchasing.
If you are purchasing any item as a gift for someone in advance of the occasion, please let me know at the time of purchase & the period during which the item can be returned will be extended accordingly & within reason (usually up to 30 days).
Items damaged through misuse, neglect or accident cannot be refunded, but can be repaired for a small charge. If items are damaged in transit (in which case please let me know immediately), compensation will be sought from the Post Office.
For your refund to be processed as quickly as possible, please follow these steps:
- Before returning the item of jewellery, please notify me via the Contact form on the website or by email (returns@ovgillies.co.uk). If the item is faulty, please describe the fault.
- Please return in the original packaging, and appropriately protected.
- Any promotional items (earrings, cards etc) must also be returned with the item/s to be refunded. No refund can be issued if these items are not returned. If you wish to keep the promotional item, the value can be deducted from the refund.
- When packaging the item, please either use the original padded packet or make sure you send it well protected, as no refunds can be issued
for items damaged in transit. You are advised to get a Certificate of Posting when returning the item by Royal Mail.
- You will be notified when I have received the item and when the refund was processed. Please note that all refunds will be made to the same credit/debit card that had been used to pay for the item. Purchases made with cheques will be refunded as like.

Wholesale Information
If you would like to place a wholesale order for OV Gillies Designs jewellery, please contact me (wholesale@ovgillies.co.uk) to discuss your requirements. Please note that I do
not accept wholesale on a "sale-return" basis for reasons of hygiene.
Please note that prices displayed on this website are not full RRP.
I would recomend that you puchase sample jewellery before placing a wholesale order so that you can be assured of the quality of my work.
